Lady Tangalooma showed better company will hold no fears for her following a commanding maiden success at Eagle Farm.

The Tony Gollan-trained filly set up a winning double for our resident sire Almanzor with stablemate Sexy Time following her lead three races later.

Lady Tangalooma was making her fourth career appearance and the step up to 1800 metres allowed the three-year-old to show her true colours, romping home by a wide margin after making all the play in front under Ben Thompson.

She was purchased out of Landsdowne Parks draft at Karaka for $160,000 by Gollan and John Foote Bloodstock and is out of the late Irish-bred Invincible Spirit mare Unbeatable Dancer.

She is from rich European family that features the G2 Blandford Curragh Stakes winners and G1 Yorkshire Oaks third Eleanora Duse and multiple Group winner Stage Gift.

Sexy Time posted his second victory from five starts when he too led all the way in Ryan Maloney’s hands to win comfortably over 1800 metres.

He is a half-brother to the dual Listed winner Excelleration with their dam the G1 New Zealand 1000 Guineas runner-up Abeautifulred and was bred by Wellfield Holdings with Pee Gee and W J Bloodstock.
